Giuliana Dodi, born in Jundiaí in 1964, is an artist who transcends the traditional foundations of painting, extending her research to the material. Her approach involves the creation of chromatic volumes through layers of color and pictorial masses. Giuliana began her approach to art through anthroposophic art therapy, working as a therapist in several institutions, such as the Associação São Joaquim de Apoio à Maturidade (2013-2019, Carapicuíba - SP) and the Associação Beneficente Helvetia (2016, Campo Limpo Paulista - SP). Formed by free studios and by her daily practice and research, Giuliana is currently a member of the artistic collective Croma. Her work is characterized by the exploration of materials such as encaustic, jute, iron filings and cement - materials that she uses as artistic expression.
