This portfolio presents Giuliana Dodi's pictorial trajectory, spanning from 2020 to 2024. During these years, Giuliana has intensively explored the possibilities of painting, not only as color, but also as a material. Her artistic research encompasses an expanded bias of painting, in which she incorporates, in addition to color elements, components of volume and texture such as encaustic, wax, jute, earth, iron powder, among others.

 

The portfolio is not organized chronologically, but rather has a formal and visual structure that emphasizes the artist’s color palette along with her material approach. This choice highlights the chromatic nuances that, together with elements of mass, layers and textures, reflect different moments in Giuliana’s production. The set presented has been grouped in a poetic way and alludes to the different moments of daylight, from dawn to dusk.
